Auspicious Holdings acquires DBLX to strengthen growth in learning & HR market
Auspicious Holdings has announced the acquisition of DBLX, a leading provider of digital custom content and platform solutions. This strategic acquisition is a key part of Auspicious' broader growth strategy within the Learning & HR sector, reinforcing its commitment to transforming the employee experience through innovative digital solutions.
DBLX, led by CEO and Co-Founder Nicky Hoyland, collaborates with global enterprises to enhance their people experiences. The company’s offerings include immersive digital content, bespoke platform development, and strategic consulting services. DBLX specialises in crafting cutting-edge solutions for learning, culture change, leadership development, and internal communications that foster meaningful engagement and sustainable organisational impact.
Through partnerships with HR and Learning & Development (L&D) teams at major organisations, DBLX designs tailor-made solutions that leverage creative technology to elevate employee engagement and improve internal communications.

As part of the acquisition, Nicky Hoyland will take on a new role as Global Chief Innovation Officer at Auspicious while continuing to oversee the growth of DBLX.
In addition to the acquisition, former Learning Professional of the Year Rob Ashcroft has joined Auspicious as Chief Learning Officer. Rob will lead the expansion of DBLX’s learning consultancy, transformation services, and employee experience offerings. With over 17 years of experience in learning management roles, including most recently as Head of Capability at Santander UK, Rob brings deep expertise to the team.
