Edda - the collaborative software for professional investors - has launched a design-led product combining dealflow, portfolio, LPs and business community management into one product as it reaches $22bn in assets under administration. Enabling members of investment teams from analysts to CFOs and Partners to work collaboratively via the online platform or through the Edda mobile app. Edda is used by over 100 investment firms across 26 countries including Plug&Play, BPI France, Future Shape LLC, Headline JP and more.

To support its rapid growth, Edda has closed $5.8M in funding from investors including Mucker Capital, Plug&Play, FJ Labs, Tony Fadell’s Future Shape - the fund founded by iPhone inventor - and angel investor, Arnaud Bonzom. The fund will be used to continue hiring talent and build out the product offering as the business scales at pace.

Private equity investors have more than $6.5 trillion under management, which is being invested in the most innovative sectors and companies in the world. However, the majority of these investors still rely on tools such as Excel spreadsheets to manage their portfolios. Edda has been developed to provide the market with fit for purpose technology bringing efficiency, transparency and safety to the industry, from the earliest days of deal selecting through to portfolio management and exits.

Edda can be used by investor partners, analysts, CFO, LPs and company founders to work collaboratively, maximise opportunities and ensure private market investment is creating the greatest value and impact for both investors and society at large.
