Stride to host London Tech Week events to celebrate re-branding
The South London Innovation Corridor is re-branding to become Stride and to celebrate they are hosting a series of virtual events during London Tech Week.
Backed by the London Boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark and Wandsworth, Stride makes space for creativity and innovation to thrive in South London. Stride is working with a range of progressive organisations to create opportunity, develop talent and support creative and tech enterprises.
As part of London Tech Week’s Borough Spotlight on Thursday 10th September, Stride will be bringing together some of their most exciting partners including OneTech, Foundervine and Microsoft for a series of virtual discussions on tackling diversity and inclusion within the technology sector.
Speaking ahead of the events, OneTech Managing Director, Alison Partridge, said “We are delighted to be partnering with Stride to support underrepresented communities in South London to connect with opportunities in tech. As we start to understand what impact COVID-19 has had, activities which support local people to carve out positive economic futures for themselves close to home are more important than ever.”
Stride’s series of virtual events during London Tech Week promises to stimulate important debate and is open for free registration to anyone wishing to attend.

This fireside chat will showcase OneTech’s Stride funded work in South London through the lens of two founders who recently benefited from the Stride programme.
Stride – Empowering Inclusive Leadership

In this lively session, Stride will partner with four young people from South London who will turn the mentor/mentee relationship on its head by posing some tough questions to tech business leaders.
